Cleaning the stairwell

Make your house look good right away

It’s important for your stairwell to be clean at all times. After all, it is the first thing people see when they enter your house. It’s your house’s business card, so to speak. Unfortunately, it’s also a place where there’s a lot of junk lying around, which creates an impression of disorder: e.g. shoes at the front door, piles of jackets, a dirty doormat, etc.

  • Use the ‘Clean As You Go’ principle in your hall. Put shoes in the shoe cabinet right away and hang jackets in the closet or on the coat rack.

  • Vacuum and mop the floor weekly with some soapy water and Feem Active Cleaner. When there’s carpet in the hall, vacuum it thoroughly as well. Some sand or loose dirt can get stuck on it.

  • Regularly beat the dust out of the doormat outside. It can get dirty very quickly.

The stairs are the most dominant element in your hall and are used intensively every day. This leaves its mark and necessitates regular maintenance. Make it a habit to clean the stairs whenever you clean the hall. Well-kept stairs give your interior a nice and well-maintained impression.

  • Vacuum the stairs at least once a week.
  • Use a lightly moist cloth or mop to remove the rest of the dirt or dust. You don’t need more than a bit of water and Feem Active Cleaner.
  • Wait for the stairs to dry before you walk on them.
