Cleaning the bathtub and the shower

Don’t turn your drain into an oubliette

Bath tub

  • Rinse the bath well with water after use to remove dirt and soap residue.
  • Make it a habit to clean it weekly with hot water and Feem Active Cleaner.
  • Let the product soak in for a quarter of an hour and rinse well.
  • Dry the bath tub using a dry microfibre cloth.
  • Stubborn lime deposits can be removed the same way with some soapy water and cleaning vinegar.
  • Never use abrasives or abrasive sponges to clean the bath, as this can damage the surface!

Shower

Just like with the bath tub, the shower must be cleaned regularly. It’s best to clean the tap right after showering and clean the walls and shower door with a window squeegee. Try to give the shower a quick clean-up every week with some soapy water and Feem Active Cleaner.

Tip: When the tap drips, there can be yellow stains in the bath or shower. Treat these stains with some lemon juice and rinse with cold water.

How can you unclog your drain in a way that's environmentally friendly?
- Use rubber gloves and remove all hair and soap residue from the drain.
- Pour a cup of baking soda in the drain followed by a cup of vinegar.
- Let this mixture soak in half an hour.
- Rinse the drain with boiling water afterwards.
