First dry, then wet
It’s important to clean and maintain your floor at regular intervals. Mopping a floor is not complicated at all if you follow the right steps. It’s often done with an old-fashioned mop, but these days there are many systems available that make mopping less hard.
Required items:
- Bucket of water
- Mop
- Floor squeegee
- Feem Active Cleaner
- Gloves
Method:
- Make sure you have enough space: clear the room you are going to mop and remove as many loose objects from the floor as possible.
- Remove the dust from the floor by dusting first and vacuuming next.
- Remove dried and stubborn stains before mopping.
- Fill the bucket with water.
- Add 15 ml of Feem Active Cleaner to the 5 litres of water in the bucket.
- Wet the mop and wring it out well (see here for the right wringing technique).
- Start in a corner of the room and work your way to the door. Mop systematically moving from one strip to another.
- Rinse the mop frequently in the bucket of water.
- Leave the floor to dry or dry it yourself by using a special cloth.
